I served as Narrative Lead for the Worldbuilding Team on Digital Publishing, where I oversaw the narrative and story for numerous projects in various stages of development. I also served as Creative Lead on an unannounced Digital Magic game.
Riot Games
League of Legends
I worked as a narrative writer on League of Legends, crafting content for champions, events, and alt universe fantasies of our established characters (skins). Writing included in game VO, biographies, short prose fiction, cinematics, world guides, character documentation, and more.

EDITORIAL: I worked as a story editor on a variety of stories written first in Chinese, helping with localization, polish, and lore continuity. I also served as content editor for numerous other stories and projects as well.
K/DA
I led narrative on a variety of content featuring the virtual girl group, K/DA, including the 2020 K/DA comics and various interviews. I also contributed to the K/DA magazine and other content. I also was the narrative lead on the LPL 2019 Akali interview segment as well. Writing for a virtual girl group and telling their story (in English and Chinese) was an immense treat and probably one of my favorite projects I worked on while at Riot.
Wild Rift, Legends of runeterra, tellstones, R&D
WILD RIFT: I wrote on a variety of narrative features and visual stories for Wild Rift, as well as VO scripts. I also served as lead editor on event content, including the K/DA personality quiz.
OTHER GAMES: I led narrative explorations on an unannounced R&D project and contributed writing to the games Legends of Runeterra and Tellstones.
Guild Wars 2
I contributed to Guild Wars 2, Season Four of Living World. The bulk of my work and writing was on Episode 2: “A Bug In the System.” I contributed to the golden path story, wrote open world quest content, and helped create and populate the Olmakhan village.
Magic: the Gathering
I wrote stories for Magic: the Gathering, ranging from standalone pieces of fiction to chapters of the ongoing main plot of the Magic universe. I worked with the team to break the Amonkhet story and authored numerous chapters, and broke the Ixalan storyline with fellow narrative writer Alison Luhrs.
I also led creative on the Global Series: Jiang Yanggu and Mu Yanling, and was a set designer on Battlebond.
Independent Projects
I led the narrative and game design for Port of Mars, a social science experiment disguised as a tabletop game. The project was part of the Interplanetary Initiative at Arizona State University, which sought to answer complex problems and questions around space exploration and settlement. I also was the narrative lead for Ava, the debut game from Social Cipher about a young autistic girl on a grand space pirate adventure.
